Early life:
Jimmy Carter was born in a hospital in Plains, Georgia, where his mother worked as a nurse. His father, Earl Carter, was a farmer who cultivated cotton and peanuts. Passed the Jimmy High School examination in 1941. He completed his graduation from that Naval Academy in 1946.He then joined the US Navy and was promoted to the rank of lieutenant.
Political Life:
Jimmy Carter was elected to the Georgia Senate in 1962. In 1971, he ran for the governorship of Georgia and won. After that his popularity increased a lot. In 1977, he was elected as the 39th President of the United States of America. Where he did excellent work for the benefit of the people of America as well as made diplomatic relations with his neighboring countries.
Personal Life:
Jimmy Carter married Rosalynn Smith, his sister's best friend, on July 7, 1947, and their son, John William, was born. Jimmy's father died in 1953, which made Jimmy very sad and returned to Georgia with his wife. A few years later, he contested and won the election for the governorship of Georgia. In 1976, he became the President of America. Even at the end of the tenure of the President, he continued to serve the country in many ways and contributed a lot to the upliftment of the poor people. Jimmy Carter, in his entire life, has done a lot of service to the people of the world, along with America, for which he was awarded the Nobel Prize in 2002.
